### The Verdict: Big-money exit?

Having been dubbed a ‘[beautiful footballer](https://twitter.com/buntingfootball/status/1497923217373155328?s=21&t=aHfIeqSoWe8mhiTHenxa_Q)’ by sports journalist Josh Bunting, Juranovic has impressed in the [Premiership](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/scottish-premiership-news/) and is still under contract until [2026](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/josip-juranovic/profil/spieler/362977).

Therefore, Peter Lawwell and the Hoops are still in a strong position and won’t need to accept the first offer that they receive for his services.

Celtic may well be hoping that more than one club would make a move for the defender in January, which could result in a bidding war and possible big-money exit yielding a profit after he joined the Hoops for around [£2.5m](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11787/12383965/josip-juranovic-celtic-agree-2-5m-fee-with-legia-warsaw-for-croatia-right-back) in August 2021.
