# Celtic: Ekrem Konur makes Joe Hart claim

**Joe Hart’s move from Tottenham to Celtic will be completed in the next few days, according to journalist [Ekrem Konur](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1420634720417767426).**

Hart emerged as a target for Celtic on Wednesday, with transfer expert [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1420310782491889666) sharing the news regarding the ‘keeper on Twitter.

The 34-year-old has made just [10](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joe-hart/leistungsdaten/spieler/40204) senior appearances for Tottenham, and it seems as if Ange Postecoglou is keen to bring the Englishman to Parkhead.

### The Latest: Konur’s tweet

[Konur](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1420634720417767426), who was one of the first to share Celtic’s interest in [Aurelio Buta](https://twitter.com/ekremkonur/status/1418952677640261633?s=21), posted on Celtic’s swoop for Hart on Thursday morning.

He suggested that the Hoops don’t want to pay Spurs for Hart and believes a deal ‘will be completed’ over the coming days.

### The Verdict: A gamble?

Hart is thought to be on [£30,000-a-week](https://salarysport.com/football/player/joe-hart/) with Tottenham, so although the Hoops may not have to pay a fee for the goalkeeper, they may still have to make him their [top earner](https://salarysport.com/football/scottish-premiership/celtic/).

It could be a risk for an ageing shot-stopper who has made just [34](https://www.transfermarkt.com/joe-hart/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/40204) senior appearances over the past three seasons.

Only time will tell if it is a good move, but by the looks of it, a deal could go through before the end of the month, so we will soon find out.
