**A lot of the Celtic fanbase are calling for Odsonne Edouard to be given a new contract following an interview the club [posted](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1268503779684597760?s=20) where the forward talks about winning the Scottish Premiership this season.**

With the player reportedly a target for [Arsenal and Newcastle United](https://tbrfootball.com/report-arsenal-leading-newcastle-in-race-to-sign-celtic-striker-odsonne-edouard/), fans are worried the [22 year-old](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/odsonne-edouard/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/344152/plus/0?saison=2019&verein=371&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) might follow in the footsteps of his fellow Frenchman [Moussa Dembele](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moussa-dembele/profil/spieler/229004) who departed for Lyon. Supporters want to see him sign a contract to show a statement of intent from the Hoops that they are determined to keep the player and also a sign that Edouard wants to stay.
