# Celtic: Fans call for Odsonne Edouard to be given a new deal after hat-trick

**Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard continued his sensational scoring form for France under-21s last night, scoring a hat-trick against Slovakia to bring his tally to nine goal in four international appearances, as noted by [The Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4840987/odsonne-edouard-france-hat-trick-celtic/).**

The 21-year-old forward’s club also trumpeted the remarkable goal return on their official Twitter channel [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1184211311229620224) after the match.

He continued that scoring run with [two more goals in a 5-0 thrashing of Azerbaijan](https://www.uefa.com/under21/season=2021/matches/round=2001101/match=2026509/) last week before going one better as the French under-21s [beat Slovakia 5-3 in European Championships qualifying](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4840987/odsonne-edouard-france-hat-trick-celtic/) last night.
