# Celtic: Fans discuss James Forrest following tweet

**A lot of Celtic fans are discussing James Forrest after a fan page posted [highlights](https://twitter.com/CelticLisboaa/status/1255110459419746304?s=20) of his most important goals for the club.**

The 28 year-old has played 395 times for the Scottish side, per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/james-forrest/erfolge/spieler/84992), scoring 89 goals and contributing with 92 assists.

His loyalty to the side has paid off as he has won ten domestic trophies and the league eight times. Whilst being a huge part of Celtic’s success, it has not been unnoticed by others in the division, as he recently won the Player of the Year award in the 2018/19 season.

This season has seen him continue his fine form, as he has featured 28 times, scoring 10 goals and providing a very impressive ten assists. No doubt the player has been a great asset for the side and a thorn for opponents, and if he stays at the Hoops his whole career, it will be interesting to see if fans start giving him the status of a ‘legend’.
