# Celtic: Fans eagerly anticipate trip to Copenhagen

**Plenty of Celtic fans were very content with the assignment that was handed to Neil Lennon’s team in yesterday’s draw for the last 32 of the Europa League.**

The Hoops will travel to Denmark to [play FC Copenhagen](https://www.celticfc.net/news/17269), an away day which has pleased many fans intending to embark on another continental trip supporting the club.

The Danish capital city was named at the top of a list of the best 10 cities in the world to visit in 2019 by [Lonely Planet](https://www.lonelyplanet.com/) ([via CNN](https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/lonely-planet-top-10-cities-2019/index.html)), highlighting its status as a popular tourist attraction.

However, a report by [The Economist Intelligence Unit](https://www.eiu.com/public/thankyou_download.aspx?activity=download&campaignid=WCOL2019) \[[via thelocal.dk](https://www.thelocal.dk/20190319/copenhagen-is-one-of-worlds-most-expensive-cities-to-live)\] cited the city as one of the most expensive in the world and the fourth priciest in Europe.

Celtic have visited Copenhagen in previous years, having been drawn in a group with their upcoming European opponents in the 2006/07 Champions League. \[[via TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/celtic-fc/bilanzdetail/verein/371/wettbewerb_id//gegner_id/190/saison_id//heim_gast//datum_von/-/datum_bis/-/day/0/land_id/39)\]

These Hoops fans on Twitter reacted happily to the news of the draw and are eagerly anticipating a trip to Denmark in February:
