# Celtic: Fans excited as reports claim Hoops could re-sign Fraser Forster for next season

**A lot of Celtic fans were reacting to reports suggesting that the Hoops are going to try and re-sign Fraser Forster on loan for next season, according to the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html) via [Daily Record.](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/fraser-forster-transfer-latest-celtic-22130068)**

The 32-year-old goalkeeper has performed brilliantly since his return to Parkhead last year, playing 28 games and keeping 14 clean sheets whilst only conceding 17 goals, via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fraser-forster/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/52570/wettbewerb/SC1/saison/2019). His performances have had many fans of the club [begging for him to stay](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/scottish-premier/celtic/celtic-fans-hopeful-that-fraser-forster-will-stay-at-the-club/) and his statistics highlight why they have loved him so much this campaign.

Last week, [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/celtic-to-pull-out-all-the-stops-to-sign-fraser-forster/) reported that the Hoops would do everything possible to bring back the English international after his current loan deal expires in the summer and, with such great performances from the man who has the [joint-most clean sheets in the league](https://spfl.co.uk/stats-centre), Celtic are right to be so desperate to keep him and there is no doubt that they appear far more confident with him in between the sticks.

Here is what these Hoops fans have said following the report:
