# Celtic: Fans fume at Marian Shved exit

**Celtic [confirmed](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1418624937099735041) on Friday evening that winger Marian Shved has sealed a permanent Parkhead exit.**

And, as to be expected, a number of Hoops supporters have been reacting to the news on the [Ukraine international](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/profil/spieler/359247) on social media.

The 24-year-old, who joined Celtic in 2019 in a deal worth [£1.8m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/transfers/spieler/359247) has signed for Belgian club KV Mechelen.

The right-winger spent [last season on loan at Mechelen](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/transfers/spieler/359247), scoring [five](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) times and registering [three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) assists in [24](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) appearances.

Shved leaves the Hoops with just [three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) appearances in green and white to his name and was never really given a chance to shine in Glasgow.

His [only goal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/maryan-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) for Celtic came on his [debut](https://www.celticfc.com/news/16548/) against Nomme Kalju in a [Champions League qualifier](https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/match/2026985--kalju-vs-celtic/?iv=true) and he’s now signed a [three-year deal](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57949869) with Mechelen.
