# Celtic: Fans happy with Neil Lennon’s continued use of two strikers against Hearts

**Celtic opened a [10-point gap](https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/table) at the top of the Premiership on Wednesday night and, even before their match kicked off, plenty of Hoops fans were in a good mood after seeing the team news when published by [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1227661163376316416) on Twitter.**

Manager Neil Lennon again started with two strikers for a league fixture (Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths), having done so for most of their top-flight matches in 2020 so far following a deviation from 4-2-3-1, a formation to which he returned in Sunday’s Scottish Cup win at Clyde. \[[via TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/celtic-glasgow/spielplandatum/verein/371)\]

Lennon went for a slight variance on his recently favoured 3-5-2 by moving midfielder Olivier Ntcham into a more advanced role to [make a 3-4-1-2](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3201764), a move that paid off with the Frenchman [scoring the opening goal](https://www.skysports.com/football/celtic-vs-hearts/411370) in their 5-0 thrashing of Hearts at Parkhead.

Despite the scoreline, and despite all five goals being [scored by different players](https://www.skysports.com/football/celtic-vs-hearts/411370), [neither Edouard nor Griffiths got in on the act](https://www.skysports.com/football/celtic-vs-hearts/411370), the former being kept scoreless for only the [second time in his last six league games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/odsonne-edouard/leistungsdaten/spieler/344152).

These Celtic fans on Twitter were happy to see Lennon once more going with two strikers for the game against Hearts:

> Glad Lennons stuck with 3-5-2 and the same team who have been producing the goods.
