# Celtic: Fans have fallen in love with club’s Jeremie Frimpong tweet

**Celtic have taken some time to show Jeremie Frimpong some appreciation on Twitter, and it has not taken fans long to follow suit.**

The 19-year-old has had a breakout season this campaign, featuring in nine SPFL games for the Hoops. In that time, he has managed to score two goals and provide one assist ([via ESPN](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/player/_/id/281119/jeremie-frimpong)), showing Scottish football his potential.

Frimpong also played his part in Celtic’s capture of the League Cup, making [three appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jeremie-frimpong/profil/spieler/484547) in the competition.

The defender, of course, was sent off in that tightly contested final against rivals Rangers. However, it was still a day to remember for the youngster as Neil Lennon’s men went on to win 1-0 and make it 10-in-a-row.

The club’s Twitter account has been showing Frimpong plenty of love, posting a few pictures of the Dutchman, and supporters were quick to do the same in the replies.

Take a look at what they had to say below…
