# Celtic: Fans hope that Daniel Arzani will feature in cup tie against Partick Thistle

**Many Celtic fans have been reacting to a tweet posted by [@Celtic1967\_com](https://twitter.com/Celtic1967_com/status/1217744481619009537) calling for Daniel Arzani to get a game this weekend.**

The Hoops take on Partick Thistle in the [Scottish Cup fourth round](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/celtic-glasgow/spielplan/verein/371) on Saturday evening and, earlier this week, [The Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/5161173/celtic-transfer-news-lennon-shved-arzani/) reported that the 21-year-old Australian caught the eye of Neil Lennon during the team’s recent training camp in Dubai, with the Celtic manager saying: “[It’s good to see Daniel Arzani back](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/5161173/celtic-transfer-news-lennon-shved-arzani/)“.

Arzani has so far played just [one competitive game](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/daniel-arzani/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/399997/verein/371) for the Hoops, having [torn his anterior cruciate ligament](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-11-06/daniel-arzani-confirms-he-will-need-operation-on-torn-acl/10469042) on his debut against Hearts in October 2018 and been [sidelined ever since](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/daniel-arzani/verletzungen/spieler/399997). After seeing the tweet from [@Celtic1967\_com](https://twitter.com/Celtic1967_com/status/1217744481619009537), these Hoops fans on Twitter are hoping that Arzani will be in the frame to feature against Partick Thistle on Saturday:
