# Celtic: Fans keen on links with Tino Kadewere

**Celtic are one of two clubs to have approached Le Havre about striker Tino Kadewere, according to reports from France.**

[RMC Sport](https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/le-havre-l-ol-et-l-om-attentifs-a-kadewere-1836502.html) claimed \[[via The Scotsman](https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/celtic/celtic-make-concrete-approach-for-le-havre-striker-tino-kadewere-but-face-competition-for-in-demand-forward-1-5071442)\] that the Hoops have made “concrete approaches” for the Zimbabwe international, who has been the subject of offers in the region of €8m (£6.8m), and Celtic-focused Twitter account [@celticbible](https://twitter.com/celticbible/status/1214574678922219520) updated followers on the Hoops’ links with the 24-year-old.

Kadewere has been in excellent scoring form for Le Havre in French Ligue 2 this season, with [17 goals in 19 matches](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tino-kadewere/leistungsdaten/spieler/384060) putting him [six goals clear of the next most prolific players in the division](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ligue-2/torschuetzenliste/wettbewerb/FR2/saison_id/2019).

He is not the only striker believed to be on Celtic’s radar in the January transfer window – the [Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/andraz-sporar-transfer-latest-celtic-21225303) reported quotes from Slovan Bratislava chief Ivan Kmotrik saying that the Hoops had met with the club about a potential bid for Andraz Sporar.

These Celtic fans on Twitter have given their approval to the club’s apparent interest in Kadewere, with one supporter hoping he will echo the success of Moussa Dembele, who scored [51 times in 94 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moussa-dembele/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/229004) for the Hoops:

> Please be the next Moussa.

> Prefer him to sporar in my opinion, think we should sign 2 strikers anyway..time for bayo and Griffiths to leave either short term or perm.
