# Celtic: Fans name their favourite moments in the one year since Neil Lennon replaced Brendan Rodgers

**On the first anniversary of Neil Lennon [returning as Celtic manager](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47371095) to replace Brendan Rodgers, the club’s official Twitter channel [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1232568480500576256) invited followers to name their favourite moments during the 48-year-old’s 12 months in charge, with plenty of Hoops fans happily sharing their standout memories.**

Chief among those mentioned were the Scottish Cup final win over Hearts last season which secured a [third consecutive domestic treble](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/05/26/celtics-treble-treble-success-opens-comparisons-debate/) for Celtic, with Olivier Ntcham’s stoppage time goal away to Lazio which secured a first competitive win in Italy and ensured Europa League knockout rounds qualification (as per [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/lazio-vs-celtic/report/420524)) also regularly cited. A couple of wins over Glasgow rivals Rangers also cropped up multiple times, namely the [2-0 triumph at Ibrox](https://www.skysports.com/football/rangers-vs-celtic/report/411242) last September and the [Betfred Cup final victory](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/08/rangers-celtic-scottish-league-cup-final-match-report) over Steven Gerrard’s side in December.

Tonight’s Europa League second leg against FC Copenhagen is Lennon’s [50th game in charge](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/leistungsdatenDetail/trainer/6266/verein_id/371/datum_zu/2019-05-31/datum_ab/0000-00-00) since being [made permanent manager](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48472791) at the end of last season, having had [14 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/leistungsdatenDetail/trainer/6266/verein_id/371/datum_zu/2019-02-26/datum_ab/2019-05-30) in the final few weeks of 2018/19. He has won 51 of those ([10 last term](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/leistungsdatenDetail/trainer/6266/verein_id/371/datum_zu/2019-02-26/datum_ab/2019-05-30), [41 this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/leistungsdatenDetail/trainer/6266/verein_id/371/datum_zu/2019-05-31/datum_ab/0000-00-00)), with [Rangers, Livingston and CFR Cluj](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/leistungsdatenDetail/trainer/6266/verein_id/371/datum_zu/2019-05-31/datum_ab/0000-00-00) the only teams to inflict defeat upon him in that time.

These Celtic fans on Twitter shared their favourite memories of the first year of Lennon’s [second spell in charge at Parkhead](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/stationen/trainer/6266):

> The treble treble, the only time I ever cried at a football match and the scenes in Glasgow afterwards really was my Lisbon moment that I’ll remember forever. Amazing to find a manager who not only continued Rogers success, but found a way to build on it and make us a force again
