# Celtic fans on Twitter are liking the speculation linking Weah with a move to Celtic Park

**With Moussa Dembele having been sold in the summer and Leigh Griffiths currently on leave due to off-field problems, Celtic are expected to bring in reinforcements up front when the transfer window opens.**

And one name that is being strongly linked with a move to Celtic Park is Paris Saint-Germain’s Timothy Weah.

According to the [Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/dec/25/celtic-timothy-weah-loan-psg-january), Weah, the son of George Weah, is one of two strikers Brendan Rodgers is hoping to add to his squad in January with the 18-year-old having already followed a host on Celtic players on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/Brz6Va9ATJL/) after announcing his plans to leave the Parc des Princes on loan.

Targeting young and talented players such as Weah from some of Europe’s biggest clubs is a strategy Rodgers has gone with since arriving in Glasgow, and it is one that has worked well for him so far making any potential move for Weah a very smart one.

Have a look at what Celtic supporters are saying about the USA international below…

> He looks a player jim he has pace and that’s a killer, cheers
