# Celtic fans react to Tierney’s injury news

**On Friday morning, it was announced that Kieran Tierney will miss Scotland’s games against Albania and Israel due to injury. Tierney is usually a mainstay in Scotland’s first-choice eleven, most than often playing on the left-hand side of a back three to be able to accommodate Tierney and Andy Robertson, who plays in the left-wing-back role. When Tierney doesn’t feature, like in last months loss to Portugal, Alex McLeish will usually revert to a 4-4-2 or a 4-1-4-1 system. Tierney has played in two UEFA Nations games so far as well as one international friendly for Scotland during this campaign. Celtic fans have had something to say about their no.63 in light of the news.**

With that being said, let’s take a look at their reactions.

It’s safe to say they are quite pleased that he has withdrawn so he can focus on getting fit for domestic games.

Other fans believe it is down to McLeish, rather than the injury.
