# Celtic: Fans recall win at Hearts upon Neil Lennon’s return in 2019

**A lot of Celtic fans are loving footage posted by CelticLisboa on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/CelticLisboaa/status/1257643596586631168?s=20) showing the highlights of the club’s victory away at Hearts last season.**

The game was a big one for manager Neil Lennon as it was his [first game back](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47301045) as manager of the Hoops after his first spell in charge [ended in 2014](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/profil/trainer/6266).

It wasn’t an easy return either as Odsonne Edouard’s strike in the dying minutes of the game gave the Celts the victory over 10-man Hearts as the game finished 2-1, but it did mean Lennon had the perfect start to his second spell in charge, as per [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47301045).

The manager, who also played for the Hoops, had a great first spell in charge of the side from 2010 to2014, winning 159 of the 227 matches, drawing 29 and losing 39, whilst he also won three league titles and a Scottish Cup, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/profil/trainer/6266).

Since he returned to the club in February 2019, the side have played 67 games, winning 53, drawing eight and losing six (as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/profil/trainer/6266)), which highlights that he is continuing to do a great job for the side since his return.

They look set to win their ninth title in a row as they sit 13 points clear of Rangers in second, as per [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scottish-premiership/table), whilst they have already won the League Cup this campaign, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neil-lennon/profil/trainer/6266).

These Celtic fans on Twitter gleefully looked back at the start of Lennon’s current tenure:
