# Celtic: Fans reminisce over Tom Rogic’s strike against Aberdeen

**Some Celtic fans have been reminiscing over one of Tom Rogic’s sublime strikes against Aberdeen after a post on social media.**

A supporter named Celtic Bible shared a clip of the Australian’s outside-of-the-foot effort against the Pittodrie outfit from back in 2016 [(O/S Ladbrokes)](https://twitter.com/Ladbrokes/status/794211179434426369). It was the only goal of the game as the Hoops edged past their Scottish Premiership rivals to move 10 points clear in the race for the title [(via The Guardian)](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/oct/29/aberdeen-celtic-scottish-premiership-match-report).

One fan called it a moment of ‘sheer brilliance’.

> That was a ridiculous goal. Sheer brilliance.

Rogic enjoys a good record against the Dons, having [won 17 of the 19 encounters](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tom-rogic/bilanzdetails/spieler/213672/gegner/370) he has featured in. He also has a solid record when it comes to attacking contributions, having [scored five times and assisted a further four](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tom-rogic/bilanzdetails/spieler/213672/gegner/370). One of his most famous goals came back in 2017 as he struck late on in the Scottish Cup final which saw Brendan Rodgers’ men secure an [unbeaten treble](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39984102).

Supporters remembered the moment against Aberdeen with fondness as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets:
