# Celtic: Fans react to Neil Lennon’s comments ahead of Aberdeen clash

**After [two consecutive defeats](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/celtic/scores-fixtures) in recent days, Celtic will be keen to return to winning ways against Aberdeen in the Premiership this afternoon.**

Despite having a [game in hand](https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/table) on table-topping Rangers, the Hoops are [four](https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/table) points adrift following last week’s derby defeat at Parkhead.

Neil Lennon has been speaking to the media in the build-up to the game at Pittodrie, with Celtic’s official Twitter channel posting a snippet of his press conference, in which he [said](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1319669539018313728?s=20), “We’re looking for a positive result and performance.”

A number of fans have been reacting to these comments and it seems like the [losses](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/celtic/scores-fixtures) against Rangers and AC Milan are still weighing on their mind.

They don’t seem to be best pleased with the manager’s remarks after those two bad results, with some even calling for the manager’s head based on their [subdued start to the campaign](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/celtic-glasgow/spielplan/verein/371).

### Here is what Celtic fans said following Lennon’s latest comments

> "We're looking for a positive result and performance."

> what’s going on [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) at the minute , we can just be a bad side so quickly there must be a underlying issue ….. we are way better than we are currently playing ??? any answers

> A decent 15 minute spell after they’d taken their best player off. Milan chucked it at 2-0, they’re playing Roma on Saturday which is why they left half their first team in Italy. We are way short of where we should be and sadly the buck stops with Neil. Very poor performance.

> Groundhog Day with Neil Lennon spouts the same rubbish and then under par performances from his ludicrous team selections. Give the fans what they deserve 👍🏼
