# Celtic: Fans strongly disagree with Charlie Nicholas’ Europa League prediction

**Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas isn’t confident that his old club Celtic will be able to return from Rome with a result against Lazio despite securing a [2-1 victory in Glasgow.](https://www.skysports.com/football/celtic-vs-lazio/420491)**

Celtic left it late at Parkhead but were worthy winners against the side currently sitting [fourth in Serie A](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/italian-serie-a/table), with reports suggesting that there might not be [much home advantage](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4916511/lazio-more-celtic-fans-stadio-olimpico-home/), they might just fancy a repeat result.

Lazio also look like being without key man [Ciro Immobile](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/lazio-boss-inzaghi-provides-injury-update-on-alberto-and-immobil-66356) for the clash, which will do much to buoy the away team’s defence.

[Nicholas](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11854247/charlie-nicholas-europa-league-predictions-how-will-arsenal-man-utd-wolves-celtic-rangers-do) feels that Lazio will be out for revenge and nick a 2-1 win.

Hoops fans took to Twitter to berate Nicholas and questioned his competence as a pundit and loyalty as a Celtic fan.
