# Celtic: Fans take issue with tweet questioning Christopher Jullien

**Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has been a regular fixture in the Hoops’ line-up since [coming to the club last summer](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48770628), making [27 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christopher-jullien/leistungsdaten/spieler/201737) so far for Neil Lennon’s team.**

He has enjoyed some distinguished moments in his first few months in Glasgow, with two especially memorable goals.

He netted the [late winner against Lazio](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50083556) in the Europa League at Parkhead in October and recently [scored the winning goal in the Betfred Cup final](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/scottish/rangers-vs-celtic-result-scottish-league-cup-final-score-jullien-morelos-a9238186.html) to see off Rangers.

However, it seems that not every Celtic fan has been totally enamoured with the 26-year-old defender. Twitter user celticbynum8ers ([@Alan\_Morrison67](https://twitter.com/alan_morrison67/status/1206660490606325761?s=21)) felt that the Frenchman has frequently been guilty of defensive mistakes against teams [lower down the Premiership table](https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/table).

By his own admission, Jullien had [a day to forget](https://readceltic.com/2019/10/06/celtic-player-ratings-livingston-a-2/) in the Hoops’ defeat at Livingston in October, taking to Twitter \[[via @Chri6ViF](https://twitter.com/chri6vif/status/1184514754271944704?s=21)\] to apologise for being “too nervous” that afternoon, while former Celtic defender Jackie McNamara said that the French centre-back had “a slow start” to life in Glasgow (as per [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/fantastic-exclusive-mcnamara-blown-away-by-celtic-player-after-slow-start-at-parkhead/)).

These Celtic fans on Twitter disagreed with the sentiments aired by @Alan\_Morrison67 in his tweet about Jullien:
