# Celtic: Fans want to see Greg Taylor starting regularly

**A number of Celtic fans have called for left-back Greg Taylor to be given a regular starting berth in Neil Lennon’s line-up.**

The Hoops’ official Twitter profile [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1214609644313645057) shared an interview with the 22-year-old from their [YouTube channel](https://t.co/VvKZ9cuph4?amp=1), with the Scotland international hoping to use the current training camp in Dubai as a springboard towards cementing a first-team place at Parkhead through hard graft.

Taylor [arrived from Kilmarnock at the end of the summer transfer window](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49558521) but has since made just [four starts](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/greg-taylor/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/362562/verein/371) and [five appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/greg-taylor/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/362562/verein/371) in total for Celtic, with his most recent outing coming against Hamilton at the start of December (as per [TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/greg-taylor/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/362562/verein/371)).

He has largely had to play second fiddle to [another 2019 arrival](https://www.celticfc.net/news/16401) in Boli Bolingoli, who has been a regular under Lennon this season with [27 starts](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/boli-bolingoli/leistungsdaten/spieler/168156), including [each of Celtic’s last three games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/boli-bolingoli/leistungsdaten/spieler/168156) prior to the mid-season break.

However, in the [most recent of those](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/boli-bolingoli/leistungsdaten/spieler/168156), he was [booked in the 1-2 derby defeat to Rangers](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3201734) and his performance came in for a scathing review from David Walton of [67hailhail.com](https://www.67hailhail.com/news/player-ratings-celtic-1-2-rangers/), who wrote that he “offered nothing positive” and “didn’t offer what we needed in at left-back”.

After seeing the interview with Taylor, these Celtic fans on Twitter feel that he should be getting more recognition by Lennon:
