# Celtic: Fans demand action after Lewis Morgan’s transfer to Inter Miami is confirmed

**A lot of Celtic fans have called on the club to make some last-ditch signings after Lewis Morgan’s transfer to Inter Miami was confirmed this evening. The Hoops announced on their official website [celticfc.net](https://www.celticfc.net/news/17374) that the winger had completed his move to the Florida-based outfit, with the news also shared on Twitter via [@CelticFC](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1223294356322508800).**

Morgan leaves Parkhead after making [31 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-morgan/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/311351) for the Scottish champions since [first coming to the club two years ago](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-morgan/transfers/spieler/311351) and he managed just [two goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-morgan/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/311351) in his time at Celtic, with the 23-year-old copping his share of criticism from [a portion of Hoops fans](https://tbrfootball.com/celtic-fans-react-as-lewis-morgan-led-the-line-against-hamilton/) and pundit [Chris Sutton](https://readceltic.com/2019/12/09/sutton-criticises-lewis-morgans-league-cup-final-performance/) over some of his performances this season.

He is the second winger to be sold by the club this month after the [departure of Scott Sinclair to Preston](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51042896) and Neil Lennon’s wide options are quite threadbare at the moment after Mikey Johnston suffered ligament damage in midweek that is likely to rule him out long-term (as per [BBC](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51314529)), with Mohamed Elyounoussi [also sidelined of late](https://celtsarehere.com/elyounoussi-injury-update-neil-lennon-makes-honest-admission/). Despite the reduction in wingers at the club, Lennon has been reluctant to turn to the likes of Marian Shved, who has played just [35 minutes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marian-shved/leistungsdaten/spieler/359247) of first team football this season.

These Celtic fans on Twitter called for action from the club after hearing of Morgan’s departure:
