# Celtic: Liverpool could reignite Edouard interest

**Liverpool could make a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard after his move to Leicester City collapsed, according to [The Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-could-new-transfer-target-20945592).**

### The Lowdown: Edouard’s phone call with Klopp

It’s been a busy few months regarding Edouard’s future. He [made it clear that he wanted to leave Celtic Park](https://www.footballinsider247.com/edouard-wants-out-regardless-of-new-celtic-manager-appointment/), regardless of who came in to replace Neil Lennon.

[The Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-could-new-transfer-target-20945592) claim the Reds could launch a bid for the 23-year-old after a move to the King Power failed to materialise.
