# Celtic lynchpin sends supportive message to Kieran Tierney ahead of Bayern Munich

**With the Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern excited about tonight’s visit of Bayern Munich, the punters propping up the bar are just hoping to enjoy the evening. Though they were smashed 0-3 in the reverse fixture, a strong performance at home should be on the cards.**

Big European nights are what the green and white cause live for, so seeing Bayern’s raft of huge talent arrive in Scotland will be quite the sight for the Bhoys in our bar, who are already in a good mood.

Indeed, with the hugely popular Kieran Tierney having signed a long-term new deal with his boyhood charges recently, the Hoops who prop up our bar haven’t stopped dancing on the pool tables. One of the most promising left-backs in Europe, the Scotland international has been [linked](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/4758477/tottenham-scout-celtic-kieran-tierney/) with some big clubs in his short time.

While that obviously delights fans, it doesn’t seem like they’re the only section of the Celtic cause to be impressed. Skipper Scott Brown took to [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/Ba4fwidFrNA/) to congratulate his teammate on landing a new contract, pulling at the heartstrings of our Celtic-mad punters.
