# Celtic: Many fans dismissive of tweet about Victor Wanyama

**Plenty of Celtic fans have been reacting to a tweet about [ex-Hoops midfielder](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/victor-wanyama/transfers/spieler/77760) Victor Wanyama, who Neil Lennon said he would like to bring back to the club (as per [The Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/5002940/celtic-lennon-wanyama-return-availability-affordability/)).**

[Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/would-be-a-great-signing-exclusive-hutton-wowed-by-celtic-pursuit-of-quality-player/) pundit Alan Hutton said last week that his potential return would be “a great move” for Celtic, although another report from [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/celtic-facing-major-blow-as-bundesliga-club-line-up-midfielder-offer/) claimed that the Hoops could miss out on signing the 28-year-old due to the probability of being unwilling to match the [£65,000 he is receiving weekly](https://www.footballinsider247.com/celtic-facing-major-blow-as-bundesliga-club-line-up-midfielder-offer/) from Tottenham.

Celtic supporter [@paulthetim](https://twitter.com/paulthetim/status/1209255261631852544) on Twitter seems convinced that Wanyama will go back for a second spell at Parkhead, voicing his belief that the Kenyan will help them to reach the [Europa League final in Gdansk](https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/news/newsid=2618783.html) in the spring.

Wanyama has become a bit-part player at Tottenham, making just [four appearances for them so far this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/victor-wanyama/leistungsdaten/spieler/77760), and had been linked with a loan return to the Hoops back in the summer by the [Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/victor-wanyama-transfer-update-celtic-19122769).

However, these Celtic fans on Twitter took a different stance to @paulthetim as regards to the likelihood of a return to Glasgow for the 28-year-old:
