Celtic goalkeeper Conor Hazard is on the lookout for a new club after failing to impress Ange Postecoglou, according to a report from Football Insider.

The Lowdown: Lack of game time

Hazard is yet to feature for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership this season, with Postecoglou continuing to prefer Joe Hart, and there has been recent talk about him leaving the club.

The goalkeeper is said to have had the option to move on back in January, but he knocked back a move to Ross County, however his long-term future is now very uncertain.

The Latest: Looking for new club

As per a report from Football Insider, the Hoops are set to give the green light for the 24-year-old to leave before the start of next season, on either a loan deal or a permanent move.

It is detailed that the shot-stopper has failed to win over Postecoglou since returning from his loan spell with HJK Helsinki, leaving his future at the club in major doubt.

The Verdict: Time to move on

The 6 foot 6 colossus is clearly talented, keeping ten clean sheets in the Finnish top flight last season, the second-highest amount in the division, however it has not worked out since he has returned to Celtic Park.

Even in the Scottish League Cup, the Northern Irishman is not preferred, failing to make an appearance in any competitions since his time with HJK Helsinki, and the Hoops should allow him to seek pastures new at the end of the season.

Scott Brain is an experienced alternative for Hart, with a total of 326 professional appearances to his name, and he should remain the back-up option to the Englishman in the 2023/24 campaign, given that he is contracted until 2024.
