Celtic prospect Ewan Otoo is being eyed for a transfer move by three English clubs.

The Lowdown: Otoo's Celtic career

Having worked his way through Celtic's youth ranks, the 20-year-old defender had his first loan spell away from Parkhead for a few months last year at Clyde FC.

With 17 appearances under his belt for Celtic's B team alongside 15 outings at Clyde, the centre-back has scored one goal and delivered three assists.

Despite not yet making his senior debut for the club, Otoo has seemingly impressed enough to find himself on the radar of numerous clubs south of the border.

The Latest: English trio eyeing Otoo

According to a recent report from the Daily Mail, Aston Villa, Fulham and Burnley are keeping tabs Otoo ahead of a possible January move.

The report also adds that "the 20-year-old central defender has impressed in the Lowland League this season and is being watched by a host of English Premier League and Championship clubs."

The Verdict: A risk for Celtic

Having been at the club since the age of eight, Otoo signed his first professional contract with Celtic back in 2019.

While he was on loan at Clyde, Danny Lennon had this to say about the youngster and his attributes on and off the pitch:

"Ewan is a young boy with fantastic energy, he's trying to make his mark in the game at that level, so he will certainly get the experience of that.

"What he does have is a terrific attitude, for a very young boy he's years ahead in terms of maturation, and is a very strong, powerful boy."

Even though Ange Postecoglou has four senior centre-backs in his squad as well as there being two centre-backs out on loan at the moment, we feel that selling Otoo could be a risk for the Hoops, given they have already seen young talents like Ben Doak start to break into Premier League teams.
