Celtic are among a host of clubs eyeing a move for talented Dundee youngster Luke Graham, according to The Courier's George Cran.

The lowdown: Rising prospect

Currently enjoying a productive loan spell at Lochee United, Graham has attracted plenty of admirers despite not yet making a professional senior debut at Dens Park.

The 18-year-old has reportedly gone on trial at Championship club Sheffield United, and Dundee under-18 coach Scott Robertson admitted that the club don't want to lose their talented youngster.

However, it would now appear that further interest could be forthcoming...

The latest: Plenty of competition for Graham

As per the report from The Courier, representatives from Arsenal, Rangers and Celtic were in attendance as the Perth-born starlet featured in a 6-0 Midlands Football League victory last Sunday.

It's claimed that Dundee have a 'fight on their hands' in order to stave off interest from the Hoops and beyond as onlookers are impressed by Graham's 'stature and ability'.

Having signed a first professional contract, it's stated that the left-footed centre-back is 'fast becoming hot property' as Celtic watch on with intent.

The verdict: One to watch

This will most likely be a signing for the B team at Parkhead, albeit that Ange Postecogelou has certainly shown an early penchant for giving youth a chance, having called upon the likes of Owen Moffat, Ben Doak, Joey Dawson and Dane Murray at various times this season.

Clearly garnering major attention, keeping close tabs on Graham is a wise move from the Hoops, particularly as arch-rivals Rangers also show their interest.

Described by Robertson as making 'real strides' in recent months, this is certainly one to watch closely as the summer transfer window approaches and Postecoglou attempts to further bolster the Celtic ranks.
