# Celtic: Pete O’Rourke makes late transfer claim

Osaze Urhoghide has [sealed](https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/celtic/celtic-transfers-aberdeen-move-to-secure-adam-montgomery-on-loan-osaze-urhoghide-seals-belgian-deal-possible-waiting-game-for-vasilis-barkas-3549446) a switch to KV Oostende on deadline day, but O’Rourke thinks the Hoops could have a final surprise up their sleeves.

### The Latest: O’Rourke’s comments

Talking to [GiveMeSport](https://www.givemesport.com/1831179-celtic-transfer-news-postecoglou-could-make-one-more-addition-before-deadline) in a story released on Monday afternoon, O’Rourke said that Postecoglou could consider a move for a wide forward.

### The Verdict: Another Carter-Vickers style deal?

Time is ticking and it looks as if Celtic will end their business on five additions.

However, saying that, they could look to push through a permanent deal for loanee Jota in the final hours if their desire for a wide signing is true.

The Hoops have previous of a late move coming out of nowhere, with Cameron Carter-Vickers’ move in the summer materialising with hours to go and being [announced](https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1432839838974287875) just minutes before midnight.

They have [reportedly been working](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11787/12508514/celtic-hope-to-seal-permanent-jota-and-cameron-carter-vickers-deals) on a full-time transfer since the start of the month for both loanees and have a [£6.5m option](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11787/12508514/celtic-hope-to-seal-permanent-jota-and-cameron-carter-vickers-deals) in the agreement for the Portuguese winger. That could be one to watch, but in terms of fresh faces, the Hoops appear to be done until the summer.
