# Celtic: Supporters on Twitter loved seeing Fraser Forster announcement

Forster will be spending the season in Glasgow, returning after a five-year absence which he’s spent at Southampton. In recent years the Saints have seen Forster drop down the order in the goalkeeping ranks, but now he has a chance to revive his career at Parkhead.

At the age of 31-years-old, Forster has plenty left in the tank, and has a great opportunity to add to the 101 clean sheets he racked up in his Celtic days over the course of his 197 games, [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fraser-forster/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/52570), at the famous Glasgow club.

The Hoops love the signing of Forster, and it’s now just a matter of time to see if he can still be the wall that the fans have fond memories of.
