Abraham’s potential arrival could end Hogan’s Villa stay

Aston Villa believe that they can put their play-off final woes behind them and do the job, getting promoted finally this season.

It really won’t be an easy task but having strengthened in the transfer market over the summer, the Villans have also kept key performers such as Jack Grealish and Jonathan Kodija, adding to the reasons why they could gain promotion.

Steve Bruce is a man proven to be successful in the Championship and he so nearly proved that yet again last season but fell at the last hurdle. However, with talk of Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham arriving on-loan, their top flight aspirations could really become a realisation.

The 20-year-old, (who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt) is reportedly ready to head out of Stamford Bridge yet again and move back down to the Championship – this time with Aston Villa.

The last time Abraham found himself in the Championship, he set the division alight with Bristol City, bagging a hugely impressive 23 goals. If Aston Villa could get themselves that same clinical goalscorer, alongside Jonathan Kodija, then they best believe they have some of the best attacking options in the league.

With Scott Hogan still a Villa player as it stands, he would simply have to step aside for Tammy Abraham as all-round he would be a better option for the Villans. He is clinical in the air and good with his feet for such a tall striker. His goalscoring ability is already strong even at the age of 20 and with Hogan’s recent injury woes, there could be no way back for him at Aston Villa.
