Aston Villa will be desperate to enjoy promotion to the Premier League after coming so close via the Championship play-offs last season.
Indeed, the Villains were dominant in the last campaign as they enjoyed a successful season under Steve Bruce. But, after missing out on promotion, supporters are desperate to see their side go one better this time round. The Villains are close to completing the signing of Norwegian international goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.
Interestingly, the 27-year-old plays for German second tier side FC Ingolstadt and is expected to arrive at Villa and take the No.1 jersey.
Although, Villa already have four goalkeepers at their disposal, so adding another in the form of Nyland could force an immediate exit for one of the less fortunate shot-stoppers.
The Villains will be desperate to get their campaign off to a good start on Monday against Hull City, with supporters wanting to see their side enjoy promotion.
Although, with the Midlands club close to securing the services of another goalkeeper, this could mean that one of the shot-stoppers fighting for a place in the side could head for the exits.
Importantly, seeing Villa bring in a second summer signing will be positive news for supporters, as their club are still showing intent and a willingness to improve.
