When Dean Smith came to the club and made a new goalkeeper one of his priorities it was clear that he knew what he was doing. The new man he looked to sign was Croatian number one Lovre Kalinic, however, the international had a mare yesterday when he suffered a blow to the head, chipped two goals and had to be replaced at half-time.

It seems that the Villains were maybe wrong to be so excited about the Croatian, and whilst a lot of the goals that he’s shipped have been down to the shambolic defending in front of him. However, to see their number one come off yesterday left plenty of the Villains disillusioned with how things have been going at their club and were fuming to see a calamitous end to the second half.
Whilst Kalinic has failed to really shine since he became a Villain, the fans much prefer seeing the Croatian play than they do seeing the club’s number two, Jed Steer. Ironically, Steer managed to keep the scoreline as it was throughout the second half, but that won’t have made the fans any happier as they fell to yet another disappointing result where they shipped two more home goals.

Can't be any worse than Kalinic at the moment tbf

The Villains hate the way things are going for their club at the moment and will hope Smith can turn it around quickly.
