Aston Villa managed to secure all three points against a helpless Bolton Wanderers side on Friday night in what was an accomplished performance from the Villains.
The Midlands club will be desperate to enjoy a positive run of form that will allow them to climb up the table and push for a play-off spot. And, it appears as if they’re eyeing a potential addition, as according to The Daily Mail, Aston Villa are monitoring Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Ed Williams.
Leeds United, Derby County and Aston Villa have all checked on Williams, who was called up to the England C squad to face Estonia last month.
And, scouts watched Williams again on Saturday as high-flying Kidderminster faced Southport.
The Englishman has been on absolute fire in the current campaign, scoring ten goals in 14 games, which has alerted clubs in the top flight.
Indeed, Premier League clubs are also monitoring the midfielder ahead of a potential move.
Ed Williams has been on absolute fire this season for Kidderminster, but it remains to be seen as to whether he would be able to make the step up to the Championship or even the Premier League.
However, the Villains won’t be afraid to bring him to Villa Park after witnessing a number of Non-League graduates succeed in the Premier League over the years.
