Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get spending in the summer transfer window as they are surely expecting they’re going to.
The men from Villa Park have had a season of stabilising in 2016/17 and now Steve Bruce needs to get his side pointing towards the Premier League before going for it.
That, then, is bound to be helped by the fact that the Villans are one of the biggest clubs in the second tier and the rumours are certainly gearing up.
Indeed, as per The Sunday People – via Sports Mole – the men from Villa Park are being linked with Hull City’s Ahmed Elmohamady.
The Tigers player has worked under Steve Bruce before, of course, with their most recent combination allowing Hull to get promoted in 2015/16.
For sure, then, Villa would like something similar to happen in 2017/18 and our landlord reckons signing Elmohamady would be a good start towards that for sure.
