Aston Villa looking to go one better with Bruce eyeing move for 27-year-old – Report

Aston Villa fans here in the Tavern won’t want another season filled with disappointment after failing to make the most of a promising position in the play-off final.

Indeed, the Villains are in a spot of bother as they continue to be haunted by financial issues that have halted their progress so far this summer. Although, it looks as if Steve Bruce is trying his best to get deals done, as according to the Scottish Sun, Aston Villa are interested in Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

Interestingly, it’s believed that Villa are interested in luring Rangers ‘keeper Wes Foderingham to Villa Park this summer.

The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Ibrox as he is now the Scottish club’s third choice goalkeeper.

Rangers are willing to listen to offers for the goalkeeper and Steve Bruce will no doubt pursue a move for the Englishman having waved goodbye to Sam Johnstone.

Landlord’s Verdict:

So, it looks as if Aston Villa will look to bring in a goalkeeper this summer, with aims of challenging for promotion once again in the next campaign. There’s no doubt that Villa will be looking to go one better next season, and Wes Foderingham will certainly give his all for the cause with a point to prove after being drowned out at Rangers.
