Aston Villa make official club statement that will leave fans concerned

Aston Villa fans in the Transfer Tavern will be disappointed with what is currently happening at the club and will be wanting the club to sort their mess out as soon as possible.

The Villans are in somewhat of a financial crisis at the moment and the locals are growing concerned with the state the club finds itself in. It all started with their defeat to Fulham in the Championship Play-Off Final and has spiralled out of control since.

Steve Bruce has had to lose some of his best players, with more expected to depart, whilst it is also thought that he will be unable to bring anybody in as well. To make matters worse, it appears that Dr Tony Xia wants to sell the club and is looking for a suitable buyer.

Things have started to get worse for the club this summer, as the club announced through its official club website that Steve Round has decided to leave his role as Director of Football.

His departure follows that of chief executive Keith Wyness, who is now suing the Villa Park outfit for a fee worth up to £6million for constructive dismissal.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Aston Villa fans in the Tavern will be alarmed with what is currently happening at the club now and will be concerned with what sort of state they will be in when the Championship season begins.

Things do not look promising for Bruce’s side at the moment and time will tell if things will improve or just get worse for them.
