Aston Villa continue to struggle under the guidance of Steve Bruce as they dropped two more points against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The Villains are heading in the completely wrong direction as they just can’t seem to ensure consistency this season, with their promotion hopes slipping away. Although, the Midlands club did manage to secure a transfer swoop recently, as according to Birmingham Live, Aston Villa have signed young goalkeeper Akos Onodi.
Aston Villa have snapped up another new goalkeeper.
Akos Onodi has joined Villa and will link up with the academy at Bodymoor Heath.
And, the youngster had this to say after signing:
‘I’m really glad to get everything sorted and officially become an Aston Villa player. I’m delighted to belong to a club like Aston Villa.”
Aston Villa have drafted in a number of goalkeepers over the past few months, with another one joining their youth system in the form of Akos Onodi.
It’s clear to see that the goalkeeping department is an area that Villa feel they needed to strengthen in.
The 17-year-old will be desperate to enjoy some success in the youth ranks at Villa Park with a push for a breakthrough in the first team over the next few years.
