Leeds United have fallen off the pace slightly in recent times as they seem to have lost their way under Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites have set the standard so far this season in the Championship and they’ll be keen to keep this going as the season progresses. Although, complacency is starting to creep in as they’ve taken their foot off the gas slightly in recent weeks, which has caused for plenty of anxiety at Elland Road.
One struggle for Leeds has been getting the best out of a player that signed for the club in January, Adam Forshaw.
Indeed, the central midfielder has been a complete disappointment since making the move to Elland Road, with an injury summing up his start to life in Yorkshire. And, the 26-year-old will have to fight his way back into the side as the likes of Mateusz Klich and Kalvin Phillips have already established themselves as the first choice.
With that in mind, the Whites should think about upgrading by bringing in this star…
The central midfielder, who is valued at £3.6 million (by Transfermarkt), hasn’t been able to enjoy as much football as he would have liked this season, despite scoring a wonderful free-kick against Blackburn Rovers recently.
Indeed, the Republic of Ireland international deserves regular football and could really establish himself as one of the best in the Championship if he’s given the platform to grow.
So, the Whites should look to swap Forshaw for an attack-minded midfielder that can help contribute in the final third, as well as providing stability in the middle of the park.
