Mile Jedinak on verge of sealing Aston Villa exit

Aston Villa are in a really difficult situation this summer and are set to lose a number of their players as they look to ease their financial concerns.

The Villa Park outfit are looking at all the possible ways they can try to save money following their issues with the Financial Fair Play regulations and slashing the wage bill is appearing as one of the most effective ways to do so.

Steve Bruce has already lost the likes of John Terry and is resigned to the fact that he is likely to lose Jack Grealish this summer as well, however, it looks as though he will also have to let go of one of his other experienced heads.

According to the Daily Mirror, Mile Jedinak has been told that he can leave the Villans this summer for a knockdown price as they look to clear his wages from their bill.

The Australia international, who starred for his nation in the World Cup, is believed to be on the verge of securing a contract with a European club, despite having 12 months left to run at Villa Park.

The Verdict:

The situation at Aston Villa is dire and is difficult to watch unfold. The club would have been expecting to build on last season’s efforts, where they were beaten in the Play-Off final to Fulham, however, they now have to sell all their stars and are not even in a position to sign players on free transfers.
