Aston Villa

Plenty of Aston Villa fans not sure over £2.7m-rated striker’s potential transfer

Robert Snodgrass and Sam Johnstone both had successful spells while out on loan at Aston Villa last season.

However, due to the Villans’ current financial situation, a deal to bring Snodgrass back to Villa Park looks unlikely while Johnstone is set for a move to rivals West Brom, as per Sky Sports.

And now Villa could be about to miss out on another one of their loan assets from their last campaign with £2.7m-rated (via Transfermarkt) striker Lewis Grabban said to be closing in on a move to Nottingham Forest, according to the Sun, while Birmingham City are also reported to be interested in the 30-year-old’s signature (via Birmingham Mail).

Having already lost John Terry and Snodgrass while Johnstone’s transfer to West Brom looks imminent, Grabban’s possible arrival at the City ground will come as a blow to manager Steve Bruce.

Jack Grealish’s expected departure to one of the Premier League’s elite will also be of concern to Bruce, who doesn’t have the funds to replace the outgoings at Villa Park.

Take a look at what Villa fans are saying on Grabban’s future below…
