Aston Villa fans had a reality check yesterday when they lost 2-1 to Norwich at Carrow Road in the Championship. The performance was deserving of the result, but the fans are still scratching their heads over Orjan Nyland’s performance and wondering what he must be thinking.
An awful few minutes. Adomah forced off with injury. Then @tammyabraham. @ScottHogan_9 on in his place for his first appearance this season. Then @NorwichCityFC equalise from a corner. Jordan Rhodes heads home for the Canaries. #PartOfThePride pic.twitter.com/jAQ8nY81RN

The Norwegian shot-stopper joined Villa from German club FC Ingolstadt back in summer under Steve Bruce for just under £3 million. However, the fans are wondering what Bruce saw in the 28-year-old as his performance last night near enough gifted the Canaries the win. His part in the first goal was bordering on comical as he got himself all caught up in no man’s land from a Norwich corner, allowing Jordan Rhodes to head home.
The second goal was much less his fault, but the fans are still going to town on the goalkeeper and wondering why they’ve had such awful luck with their men between the sticks. Dean Smith will no doubt look to make signings in the upcoming January transfer window and it would be no surprise if he looks to bring in a new goalkeeper with the money that will be made available to him. Most supporters would drop Nyland in a heartbeat and if Smith can bring in a more reliable stopper who knows the league then the Villains will jump at the chance.

Ditch the lot.. All useless.
Play the youth team for the rest of the season… They'll get more points on the board than these brainless buffoons

The fans are far from pleased with Nyland’s performance and would love to see him dropped for the club’s coming matches.
