Xande Silva is a youngster worth a punt in January for Villa

Aston Villa have had a steady start to the season and luckily due to late backing, they brought in a number of good players. 

Steve Bruce recruited well with the short time he had and now Aston Villa have gone from being regarded as a team who struggle to a team with potential to bounce back from their play-off final defeat last season.

With a number of players added who carry a significant amount of flair with them, Villa have a new dimension to their attacking play and they look a threat to their fellow Championship teams.

If they were to increase that further, as well as keeping a tight-knit defence, the Villans would have a great chance at having a successful season.

West Ham’s U23 star Xande Silva is showing potential of being a player with great potential and that is something Aston Villa would be smart to acquire in January should the chance present itself.

Silva, (who is valued at £180k on Transfermarkt) has had an electric start to life in England and with West Ham. Arriving as a player who failed to light the Portuguese league on fire, Xande Silva has since scored five goals in four appearances.

The 21-year-old has definitely hit the ground running unlike a number of other players who move to England to play their football. The Championship would present a huge jump up for Xande Silva however with the blistering pace partnered with the smart finishing ability, the West Ham youth prospect could be ready to present his potential on an even greater stage.
