Birmingham: Blues fans react as Gimenez issues early pre-match tweet

Birmingham City have had some ups and downs already this season but they know that with a bit of consistency and some more goals up front, they will be capable of challenging for the play-off places.
Blues have scored just 16 goals from 16 games so far this year and if they cannot improve that record, it is hard to make a case for them challenging for the top six this year.
Of course, losing the likes of Che Adams and Jota was always going to have an impact on offensive output, but the time has long gone for them to feel sorry for themselves, and they must now find a solution.
The likes of Alvaro Gimenez will be expected to step up to the plate more than he has so far, then, and after he posted the following message on Twitter, many offered their support to him as he looks for goals – though some were a little less patient:
