Birmingham City will be hoping for a turn in fortunes in the coming weeks as they look to address a slide in form that has seen them drop down the table.
The Blues have quality in their side but recent results have not gone how they would have liked and despite a recent win in the FA Cup over Blackburn Rovers, they need to address their form in the Championship. Their next chance to do that, then, comes against Luton Town in what is potentially a very big game for both sides.
A win for Luton would see the Blues get dragged further towards the drop zone and the Hatters will be doing all they can to see that happen. Pep Clotet and his players need to be at their best, then, and one man they’ll hope to have back soon – though it’s too early to say he’ll be in at the weekend – is midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld.
