Birmingham City have today confirmed that Pep Clotet is now their full-time manager after a lengthy spell in charge on an interim basis.
The Blues have had an up and down season so far but have shown that they can compete with anyone in the division and just finding some consistency and more goals will see them climb the table further than where they already are.
Clotet has done a decent job given the upheaval thrown his way in the summer, too, and it seems as though he has done enough for the owners to think he deserves a longer period in charge at St. Andrew’s.
For sure, he has the players’ backing at the moment with them often putting in committed performances and that is half the battle, whilst this security could now provide a springboard for something even better.
