Many Bristol City fans have given their responses on Twitter to a joke coming from the club admin.
The Twitter account made a joke about club forward Famara Diedhiou scoring Senagal’s equaliser versus Brazil.
The tweet asked “Hey Brazil, you want a clean sheet”, with there being an attached GIF of Famara Diedhiou shaking his head in disgust.
The two countries met in Singapore, with Senegal spoiling the party on Neymar’s 100th cap.
Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino put Brazil ahead after a well-executed chip from Gabriel Jesus’ smart pass.
Sadio Mane later won a penalty on the brink of half time for Senegal, to which Diedhiou was on hand to slot it home.
Diedhiou has been playing okay for Bristol City this year in the eyes of WhoScored. According to their algorithm, he has an average rating of 6.84/10 from his nine performances, scoring twice overall.
Below are some of the responses to the club tweet…
HE SCORED AGAINST BRAZIL. HE COMES FROM BARTON HILL.
