Bristol City: Fans react to Millwall loss

Bristol City could not build on their weekend win at Fulham on Tuesday night in the Sky Bet Championship as they lost 2-1 at home to Millwall.
The Robins are clear play-off challengers this season but it seems fair to suggest, right now, that a promotion challenge is going to be a stretch too far with Leeds and West Brom setting such an electric pace.
Indeed, losing games at home to Millwall doesn’t lend itself to making the top two in the Championship and Lee Johnson and his players will have to look at where things went wrong and then improve upon them.
The games will come thick and fast over the coming weeks, so they still have opportunities to really cement a top six spot but the feeling last night was one of real disappointment.
Let’s look at how the Robins fans reacted to the result, then, on Twitter last night:
Shame we didn't turn up until the 80th minute

Y did Johnson name the same team 3 games in a row they looked so tired

He can’t win ! If he changed the team he would got crucified

Home form is dire. First 80 minutes clueless. Woke up after that but far too late again #strikerneeded

Explain that one Johnson. At home, your team only turn up for last 5 mins! Shocking performance. We won't make play-offs, team has no backbone.

You can’t blame Johnson for that. Played the exact team for the past two games. The players should’ve done better

Fair play to Millwall they came to defend & frustrate & did it very well. Soft 1st goal then it was uphill. Shape & team didn’t work but changed too late and players obviously not given Clear direction. This one is on LJ not settling the team up correctly then not adapting.
