Bruce must start Nuhiu and Reach today

Sheffield Wednesday managed to secure all three points against Wigan Athletic in their last Championship outing, so they’ll be full of confidence heading into today’s game.

It would take something special for the Owls to work their way into play-off contention from here on in until the end of the season, with almost every results needing to be a positive one.

However, Sheffield Wednesday will travel to Stamford Bridge to face Premier League side Chelsea in the fourth round of the FA Cup later on today. The Blues will be desperate to go all the way in this year’s competition as they look to defend their trophy, so the Owls will need to produce something special.

And, with Chelsea’s new signing Gonzalo Higuain will have his fitness assessed ahead of kick-off tomorrow, so perhaps Maurizio Sarri will put out a strong side.

Nevertheless, with an upset possibly on the cards if Steve Bruce works some magic, this Sheffield Wednesday PAIR will make Chelsea’s stars look like schoolboys today…

ADAM REACH

Adam Reach has been Sheffield Wednesday’s standout performer in the current campaign, having produced an impressive seven goals and three assists.

The 25-year-old has dropped off the pace in recent times but he still possesses the ability to create something out of absolutely nothing, so perhaps one of his wonder strikes will catch Chelsea off guard. Reach could play a big part in today’s game as his dribbling ability and deceiving amount of pace makes him very difficult to tackle in full flow.

ATDHE NUHIU

Atdhe Nuhiu hasn’t exactly been prolific in the current campaign as he currently only has three goals to his name at this moment in time, but he has been able to have a positive impact on proceedings, despite his lack of potency.

The Kosovo international’s presence in the Blues’ box could cause them all sorts of problems, as his height and aerial ability will be hard to match up against, no matter what side Maurizio Sarri puts out.
