Charlton Athletic: Fans show appreciation to Macauley Bonne

Many Charlton fans have taken to Twitter to big up the performances of forward Macauley Bonne.
The attacker – signed from Leyton Orient after a successful season in the National League – continued his rich vein of form on the weekend as he scored his fifth goal in six games for the Addicks.
With Charlton going 1-0 down to the Baggies at the Hawthorns, Macauley Bonne was able to level the scores on the hour mark. West Brom then took the lead again – after they had Nathan Ferguson sent off – before Naby Sarr won a penalty deep into added time. West Ham loanee Josh Cullen then made no mistake from the spot and the spoils were shared in West Bromwich.
The ex-Leyton Orient forward has now moved to being the joint top scorer for the club, with Conor Gallagher and injured Lyle Taylor also having five goals.
With that point, Charlton have moved to ninth in the division and are two points off Bristol City in sixth.
Many Charlton fans replied to the club tweet with positive messages for the player.

Macauley and Lyle are now tied on 5 in 6.
Whoever said he wouldn't cut it in the Championship?

This is the best bit of business RD has ever done, his value is continuously rising, will be worth 20 times what we paid for him now, keep going @MBonne9. Been a pleasure to watch real fox in the box, proper poacher and goalscorer most natural one I have seen since Darren Bent.
